Would this conversation make more sense if someone knew how much additional power some engines make with the alternate rods. Not interested in hypothetical increases. What are the dyno number comparisons between stock and alternate rods?

How much more HP can anyone make with an additional increase of 500 RPM at the top of their RPM range? Look at your own dyno sheets. How much more HP or torque do you make in the last 500 RPM? If your engine is head and/or cam constrained, it would seem to be a simple academic question. More power is simply not there.... You trying to exceed the capacity and efficiency of the air pump.

That's why I don't care for political or religious discussions. Everyone has an opinion, and no one has a firm resolution for the selection of the "best" of the issues. Its' all theoretical, with no way to "prove" anything. It's all about what you "believe", and no other opinions are considered valid!

I don't have a dog in this fight. Would just like to see more fact and less hypothetical in it.
