Production Friday qualifying. Both EP and FP are under the existing track record (I understand the track was repaved/widened and this was 'expected')

New paving is nice and does have good stick. They even paved outside of some of the curbs - presumably to stop the ruts when Spec Miatas drive up and over the curbs. But - this would also make the track more usable for bigger cars like NASCAR??

5 EProd; 3 FProd; 4 HProd.
Large 9 car GTLite field. Looks like a good 1-2 race between Bobby Lentz (ex-GProd) and Warren Montague.

The fastest Spec Miata drivers are turning 2:13.8's . That's 3.9 seconds under the old SM lap record.

Anyone know why there's two sets of prod results for Sunday? One with Kevin Leigh winning overall, and one with him at the bottom of the results with no times - no explanation on the sheet whatsoever.

Bill, how many laps were in the one with him at the bottom of the sheet?

I've noticed on Race Monitor that there are often several practice/qual/race sessions listed. My *guess* is that it's a software thing that someone forgot to start/stop the session on the computer, or they had a snafu.. The final results always show the right number of laps and times, but the other sessions show just a few laps each so my guess is they just reset the start/stop markers in the software and that's an artifact.

That said, I've NEVER touched the timing software but watched a few do it. Maybe Rogerson can comment on the above?

I was actually looking for the results on the MyLaps web page because there used to be the possibility of seeing each lap, doing some averages, etc. I was unable to find it.
