Eric,

Any idea what the IP address of Port number are for the track AMB server?

Kirk

Kirk-

Nothing is running through a private wifi network to my knowledge, so you can't access it that way. You can use Race Monitor through your phone's mobile connection though.

Eric

Yesterday's results for those that haven't seen them.
EP. 1. Greg Ira
2. Steve Hickman
3. David Gusset

FP. 1. Austin Britton
2. Glenn Cameron
3. Mark Weber

HP. 1. Jay Griffin
2. Tim Pitts
3. Ken Franke

GTL. 1. Peter Shadowen
2. Paul Mevoli
3.Charles Leonard

Kinda difficult to do this on this 'tiny' little screen/ keyboard but this was a large group with about 10 classes...very glad we got the split start

More on this.

EP - Ira was in a class of his own and really cut through traffic after the restart. Hickham and Hussey had a great battle for second. Incidentally Hickham's car was in primer. Looked like maybe the car went on a diet and is waiting for final paint (inside is still bright orange!). Hussey's car is a beautiful Integra for those who have not seen.

FP - Austin led at the start and as the FCY came out passed a couple of cars. That drew him a 3 position penalty at the end. On the restart, H got by Austin and then promptly spun. The car died and it wouldnt restart, promoting Cooper to second. With the penalty to Austin he got the win.

HP - All the confusion of 10 classes I missed when Jay got by Tim. They were never that far apart.

GTL - Last lap incident between Mevoli and Shadowen right below us (we were in the observation tower at 17). Mevoli leading and Shadowen carried a lot of speed in, shot the gap, got alongside and then the gap closed. Side to side contact and they both slid off under the bridge (out of our sight). Both continued with Shadowen taking the win. There was paper but I believe both withdrew. Looked like a racing incident to me. Two guys going for the win and the same piece of real estate. Pretty standard incident in 17 from my experience.

Beautiful day today. Small bore by themselves today at 1pm Green flag time.

Jay,
Congrats on your 2 wins in Sebring. Really glad to see you back. Gonna go for 2 more this weekend?
See you in Savannah, I hope.
Keith

I remember seeing Hickam's car at TWS last year and it was bright orange. I thought it was strange to see it listed as gray. Primer after losing sheet metal makes more sense now.
Heck, he was fast then-- scared to see what it does with more weight off the car!

Thanks Keith, for what it's worth I never really left, just needed to back off for a bit last year.
As for this coming weekend, I am already entered but as of right now I'm not sure I'll be able to make it. Can't get the time off this Friday that I had planned on, ironically I'm busier at work now (AFTER the shuttle program ends) than I have been in years.

I also discovered a cracked rear brake rotor after this weekend, having new ones made up now. They were probably more than due though.

Savannah is definitely on my schedule this year.

Jay

It definitely was a fun weekend for me. Minus Sunday's acrobatics by the FP car. Sadly, we forgot to hit record on the camera, so there's no footage. But the good news is that Glenn was okay and I didn't miss a shift, or wet myself. ;)
