Craig told me about this picture.
It is me and is about 1980 to 82. I used to go to Summit Point twice a year to run against Joe, we were very evenly matched and had some great races. He was a very hard man to pass, never made a mistake and was always clean to run with, great guy too, I learned a lot from him. That blue #11 was a very fast car, lots of lap records and ran well at Road Atlanta, but I could not seal the deal at the runoffs in G/P. It was my first collaboration with Bob G. at BHP, he helped me with the chassis and did the heads and motor pieces. The car went to Bill Cobb in 1985 , he was on the pole and finished 2nd to Randy Canfield that year. It was bought by Ron Bartell who won 2 championships in H with it and still runs it today.
