I use one wire converted GM Delco CS130 style alts, as they bolt up to my engine very similar to the stock Bosch units it came with, but they are much lighter and much easier to replace.
I drive a solid mounted 4 cylinder and it beats the crap out of alternators, so I have a few I keep in rotation as they fail.
I used to get reman ones but I found I can buy new ones almost for the same price. I have been buying them from DB Electrical lately, already converted to one wires
I keep a stock of parts for repairs from this place:

Mainly what breaks on mine is the cases, they just fatigue from the vibration and crack, sometimes the internals fail but in my car its usually the cases.
What alternators are you running?
I love the simplicity of the one wire alt.
I tried mocking up one of the Densos to my car but it would have required way more fabrication for me than the Delco so I took the path of least resistance and went with the Delco type.
