OK, this site is not the epicenter of SCCA production racing (tho some may say otherwise.)

However, for the 20 people who are willing to say, please say whether you run Bias or Radial tires.

IN ORDER FOR YOUR VOTE TO COUNT: You must post in the comments section the last (verifiable) time you raced in Production class.

I will throw out the nonsense ("back in the 60s there weren't radials" "Anyone who uses bias plies is an old idiot")

Just answer the question, and tell us exactly the last production race you suited up for.

Vote ends Wednesday.

Have run bias since mid '80s and do now on my two H cars. First ran the Hoosiers at Sebring in June and are heading back up next week to run the long course. Primary car is recovering from a cement wall but plan to try out the 900lb front springs on radials for the first time as soon as it recovers. We run 5 to 7 regionals a year. The Hoosier bias was great and felt a lot more solid that the GYs.

Jason let's allow it. Unless Bias wins by one vote :)

Also, I count 5 radials in the comments but only 4 votes for radials above.

Back to the garage. Vote People!

Bias Ply - Laguna Seca June 2014 - Lotus 7

But I have run radials on the Miata. In fact the last time I ran the Miata (Jan 2014) I spent the weekend going back and forth from radials to bias ply's with a compromised set-up.
So if I could vote twice, I would cancel myself out.

If you don't like the rules you made up feel free to change them. However, I don't see how what a GT car is running impacts a poll about Prod cars, unless they are double dipping.

I ran them last at Charlotte Motor Speedway, 8/16/14. Been running on them-no failures OR complaints since they came out. Can't say that for bias plies that I ran for 4 years previous.

Yeah yeah, it's the kindler gentler me.

Besides, only 5 of the 6 people who voted bias have said when they ran anyway. At least Kyle made it clear.

So right now the verified production total is 6 radial 4 bias (without Kyles and without Mystery Voter.)

I'm with Kyle, Mystery voter - GTL Portland - BIAS, but prior to that, Rose Cup National G Production - 2003 - BIAS then also

Dude it's just like Who's line is it anyway. All made up and the points
Don't matter.

Bryan grumpy short small puny irish guy. ;-)
