Looking for a copy of the 1979-1986 IMSA GTU rule book.

Restoring IMSA GTU 1979 Mazda RX7 race car for Vintage Racing.

They inherited the records of the old IMSA including rulebooks. They probably have every year.

But do talk to the tech people with whatever vintage group you plan to run with - their rules may cite original rules but may be interpreted much differently. I talked to SVRA a number of years ago when I was considering running my VW in vintage, if I recall correctly they were willing to accept mods that IMSA RS "in the day" would not have.
