Evolution Saw

I've got a couple of header and roll bar projects coming up and I knew my band saw was going to slow me down so I started looking for alternatives. What I really wanted but could not afford was a cold saw. I had used a chop saw before but did not like the noise, sparks and finish of the cut. I started looking around on the web and found the
Evolution 14" 15-Amp Multipurpose Cutting Chop Saw a Lowe's for $300. The reviews were good so I decided to try it out and bought one. Best $300 I have ever spent. Cuts through 1 1/2" .095 DOM in seconds and leaves a clean cut that is square, cool to the touch and ready to TIG Weld with a minimum of, if any, clean-up. I think the secret is the TCT steel blade. You might be able to use one of these blades in a regular chop saw. My only issue is coming up with a jig to make perpendicular cuts in header J pipes. I made one for my band saw but have to use a different approach for this saw.
