With great sadness SCCA tech Bill Dalton was coppered to heaven from the Blackhawk Farm road race course near Rockton, IL after collapsing in the tech building on 10/8/2011.

My first pleasant meeting with Bill (as they all were) was my first trip to tech at Blackhawk Farms on May 14, 2000.

Thanks for posting this, David. I got a call on Saturday evening about Bill's passing. Bill was pretty active with a lot of groups from current era to vintage and he will be missed. Especially he and his band over in the garages at the VSCDA events. That was always a good time. RIP Bill.
