With a front drive car, what are the disadvantages of a locked / welded Diff? At some tracks I get a little to much wheel spin, inside tire spins, reducing the acceleration. Now if I had a little more power, it wouldn't help if I am getting to much wheel spin now.

While taking the brakes apart I noticed they will take the same pads I use on the front of the fiesta race car. RX7 rear pads will fit on both front and rear, on the fiesta I use hawk blue. Not sure if that will help provide anyone else with more options.
