I've always had my tires balanced and put tape on the weights. I've also marked my tires before and noticed that they spin on the rims from the mounting lubricant. Given that they move on the rim is there any point in balancing? Seems to me like that is just a wasted step and a PITA cleaning...

Building a new stainless exhaust system and was going to use v-band clamps after the header and before the muffler for easy removal. I am noticing big price differences from about $22 to $100 each (with 2 flanges) delivered on 304. Is there a big quality difference on these when they both are 304?
