    Tire Machines and Cantilevered Slicks

Lay the tire/rim flat and put Ruglyde around it and let it sit. 9 times out of ten it will break loose. I have 3 high speed grinders and cutters but I'd have to be in dire straits to use them on my wheels, I have also used PB Blaster to get tires off steel wheels. I do appreciate your problem...

    Best fuel pressure regulator

Forgot to mention that all these regulators are adjustable. Is yours? We run ours at 3 to 3,5.

    Best fuel pressure regulator

Pegasus has 4 good quality regulators in their catalog. Summit also has an extensive range. We've been using the Holley regulators for years on both our 948s and 1275s. They aren't the class of the group but they work.

Rear Housing for a long shaft Quaife Rocket Box.

Need the rear output shaft housing for a long tail Quaif Rocket Box Ford 4 speed transmission. Threads stripped where the shift lever housing screws into the case and there isn't enough metal in the case to weld up a repair. Bob Hess

Just to respond to the comments about what I wrote above, what I said was what exists now, not giving an opinion.

End of the Production Car Classes ?

After transferring from 22 years in PCA to SCCA 35 years ago I remember all the fun we had running EP, FP, and HP. Finally in '97 we went full time HP in the Joe Hufaker Sr.built Bugeye HP car we bought originally for autocrossing and track days. Lots of competition, lots of nice folks having...

    Asymmetrical roll bar

I've run both styles of roll bars over the years but one of my cars has an asymetrical rear hoop but with a narrow matching front hoop tied to it with fore and aft tubes. It must work because the former owner/builder got the car upside down twice without hurting the driver or the hoops. I agree...

'59 Austin Healey Sprite HP Race Car

Ironically It's going to a Brit who's family has a Bugeye racing background. Met him at Sebring a couple years ago helping him with a rough Bugeye he'd just purchased. He's been drooling all over my car ever since and finally decided to take the plunge. He's a CFR member so we get to watch it...

    club racing webinar

Great discussion but the killing of the HP enthusiasm years ago by putting the Hondas, VWs, etc. in the class certainly had an effect on numbers going for Runoff spots. When we bought our Runoffs level Sprite in '03 with the intention of going to the Runoffs we wound up right in the middle of a...

It's a full legal LP engine that only needs flat top pistons to bring the CR up to recent allowed level. It's got the best of everything in it. I'd put a picture of it in here but as usual my pictures are "too large to process". They "process"every where else but here. Bob
