    Dual Master cylinder setup

Great info Bill. What you have laid out is pretty close to what we've come up with for our cars. We use the Tilton system and have run stock calipers, MGB calipers up front and drums and Wilwoods out back with a proportioning valve in the middle. Always had good brakes with the Wilwoods as they...

    948 pistons

The JE pistons I had made were for a couple 1275s I have been running. Sent them bore numbers and piston dimensions.

    948 pistons

Moss has piston rings up to .40 over.

    948 pistons

The pistons are 2.5 outside diameter. You would need to rebore to fit them. I know that's not what you wanted but that's all I've got. Could sent you a text picture quicker as I haven't figured out how to do pictures on this new site.

    948 pistons

Mike. Got 4 Omega, 2.5, 14.1, pins, no rings. 8 Cosworth 2.5, 14.1, rings on 4, valve relief on other 4 without rings. All have pins but no nylon "pucks". All are used and in good condition. Make an offer and pay the freight and they are yours. Bob

    948 pistons

Ive been getting pistons made by JE. All I had to do was send the dimensions. I have some Omega piston sets. Tell me what your bore size is and I'll see what I've got. I might have rings also. Bob

    LP hp numbers

Those engines were built in 1995 and I've been waiting for one to go ever since. Cranks were lightened, shaved, hardened and balanced. Got them with the blue 13 car in '03 and ran the engines until 2014. Ran them on the average of 10 events before tearing down for bearings, valves, rod stretch...

    LP hp numbers

No data on the the 1275 but the 948 engines designed and built by Dave Tabor and Harland Sharp turned out 100 hp at 9,500 rpm on the dyno. Lap times at Sebring almost identical in the same car. Putting one of them in the car we're building now. Cam is so wild the #4 cylinder doesn't come on line...

    Odd axle splines

Confused, Is it a Torsen or a Quaife? Quaife is still in business in the UK and contacting them direct should get some good information. BTW, use 806 late model Midget axles over aftermarket if you can, Only broke 2 axles in 35 years and they were aftermarket. Bob

    Tire Machines and Cantilevered Slicks

Then for for the "death wheels".

    Tire Machines and Cantilevered Slicks

Lay the tire/rim flat and put Ruglyde around it and let it sit. 9 times out of ten it will break loose. I have 3 high speed grinders and cutters but I'd have to be in dire straits to use them on my wheels, I have also used PB Blaster to get tires off steel wheels. I do appreciate your problem...

    Best fuel pressure regulator

Forgot to mention that all these regulators are adjustable. Is yours? We run ours at 3 to 3,5.

    Best fuel pressure regulator

Pegasus has 4 good quality regulators in their catalog. Summit also has an extensive range. We've been using the Holley regulators for years on both our 948s and 1275s. They aren't the class of the group but they work.
